It’s full of good, snappy writing, too. Great skits all throughout.

I didn’t really like it, but it was neat, original and it told an interesting modern folktale.
Solid Film. Quirky characters. Everyone seems to be having fun.
It inspired me to buy a kayak a few years back to have my Autistic Fish Man Summer.
In my headcanon it’s some kind of smokable kelp wrapped in different kelp.
I don’t get the hate for it. It’s weird, tense, spooky and exciting with good looking scenes and interesting characters. It’s not a perfect film by any stretch but I goddamn love a psychopathic robot any day.
This person texts admitting to stalking you, thensends texts admitting to bribing the police? Did you call the station with your tracking number to confirm this? Or take your copy of the report to another station if you did confirm it was buried? Those details will help round out your creative writing exercise here.
I think they have fun.
I used to think this, still kinda do. I get nothing out of watching sports. But just the other day I was talking to a friend who coaches football, she said she likes it because it’s similar to chess. There are near limitless combinations of plays and each…segment, down, ball thing, I don’t fucking know football, is another move. I’m not going to watch football but I appreciate her perspective
Adding to this: Women are culturally encouraged to feel and express specific emotions while Men are culturally encouraged to feel and express different, specific emotions. How one ought to behave is dependent on the culture on a grand scale, and those expectations skew how people observe gendered behavior.
For example, women who speak candidly are more likely to be considered flawed and viewed negatively. Or a woman who screams is acting normally while a man who screams is an outlier, no matter how many times men are observed screaming.
I don’t know enough to know if it’s easier to cover up months of subtle and forceful coercion, or a billionaire’s murder. I think that would count as ‘duress’ for the nepo chilluns. This is hard, I can understand why everyone’s not doing it.
We’d have have to use drugs or something first to get them to sign over their wealth. Probably film it, make sure no one thinks it was under duress. The whole process could take months to make sure it looks legit. CIA level brainwashing maybe? I donno, just spitballing. Then just make sure they can’t backtrack on everything by finishing the job.
Thanks for understanding the irony I was attempting. Guess I’m off on my delivery.
A catholic who hates the vatican. A doctor who hates the hospital they work at. A conservative who hates the republican party.
Sorry about that, it’s the internet. I’m not a doctor, but it was explained to me that proteins from different sources are not all the same and, while I can process protein from a variety of foods, I don’t do it as efficiently as with muscle proteins. The nutritionist I spoke to - who was a vegan and a vegan activist - said people like me need about 1-2 chicken breasts per week. It’s not uncommon, a lot of people who try to go veggie and can’t hack it just go back to meat without trying to figure out why they felt sick and tired. Other people have said it’s genetic based on your ancestors, but I haven’t seen a lot of evidence to support that. Other sources point to evidence you can alter the way your body processes things by following specific diet plans, but I’m not prepared to feel that shitty again to figure it out.
Oh gee I didn’t try eggs or dairy in the months I felt like shit after going veggie, and neither the doctor nor nutritionist suggested that either. You solved all my dietary needs and I can give up meat now after years of trying to figure out the most sustainable diet I can manage.
Where I live the beef is local and cheap. I’m not able to obtain enough protein without meat, as confirmed by a doctor and a nutritionist when I tried to go vegetarian. With food costs so high it’s cheaper to buy cow than anything else, but when I have the money I opt for fish or turkey. I looked into hunting but it’s prohibitively expensive for me with permits, tags, guns, licenses, days off and transportation. I tried fishing for myself as well, but whenever I get time to do it, there are warnings about eating fish in the area. When there aren’t I never catch anything big enough to legally be allowed to keep. I’d like to get chickens if/when local government ever lifts the bylaws preventing it.
I didn’t know it had a thesis. If it did, it’d probably be about retribution against the people who give technology to humanity and the dangers of having that technology. Like the myth of Prometheus.
