Snapple fact: You’re rather whack

Because script kiddies claimed thousands of copies of GTA 5, either for their own use or to sell to other people that are evading a ban for hacking
Me having my first ‘open world’ experience with TES Oblivion and not enjoying it until my inner monologue suddenly switches from “I don’t know where to go. I don’t know what to do” to “I can go anywhere. I CAN DO ANYTHING!” and then I am slaughtered by the guard for trying to kill the nearest random peasant.

Looks like all the games you’ve listed are games where you can spend hours just to grind to the next level, or are filled with mundane fetch quests to keep you busy. If you don’t want to take a break like someone else suggested, you could try to play a single player game with a definite ending. Even if it’s a short game that is only a couple of hours long, you might just need something that has a final cutscene/boss fight and then the credits roll.
Not really sure what games might interest you, but look into Turnip Boy Commits Tax Fraud for a short, 4-6 hour long fun adventure. Or TUNIC if you want something similar to a Dark Souls esque experience, without getting all sweaty and try-hard
I’m really speaking for myself here, but my main issues were the micro transactions that are in the game. Before the game was released, it was announced that you can use real money to purchase wakestones to revive yourself, rift crystals to hire stronger pawns, a portcrystal to fast travel, and even to change your character’s appearance (as well as some other items). After the game’s release people quickly realized that buying these were not necessary at all and they could all be obtained easily through normal play, but the damage was already done. It left a sour taste in my mouth and made it seem like the devs or the publisher were not confident in the game and felt like they needed to add a way to milk some more cash out of the people who bought it.
Gonna be a coin toss between Mr. Highway’s Thinking About the End by A Day To Remember, or Gasoline by I Prevail
