Seasonal flu shots won’t protect you from bird flu.
I think seasonal flu shots also now contain strains of H1N1 (swine flu), but not this latest bird flu.

Getting it might still help your odds against bird flu, even if only by lowering your chances of ever catching both at the same time.
Simultaneous infection isn’t gonna be fun.

You getting a seasonal flu shot might also help the population in more roundabout way.
If less people need care for seasonal flu complications, health services will be less overloaded and more available to eventual bird flu patients if a bird flu pandemic did break out.

Yea, it’s not the first time I’ve seen this discussion either.
I don’t wanna seem like I’m not believing you or belittling your experience, I just find it weird that we (we, users, as a whole, not just you and I) have such wildly different experiences with it.

As is, I have a vastly better experience with my own nextcloud than with corporate’s onedrive, with more stuff on mine.

Wish I knew why it’s so inconsistent.
Even though my nextcloud experience is fine, I know plenty of people with the opposite.

Legit have had none of these issues.
I do get a notification once in a while if I modify a picture fast enough, like a quick crop and it’s still uploading. Like snap pic and edit within the same 5 seconds or so.
Basically just a: “there are multiple versions of the same file (which is true), which one do you wanna keep”.

Then again mine is running on a pretty beefy server which might hide issues rooted in performance.
I remember it being hell when I was running it on a RPi.

Yea only times I’ve had issues is if I run out of space allocated to the container that runs it.
I currently have 16GB of phone uploads and 540G overall, it works fine

I think it’s meant to tell you the app has access to your microphone, which could be useful to know from a privacy perspective.
If it’s anywhere, it might be in privacy related settings.

Nextcloud might be overkill if that’s the only feature you need. I’ve never used the more involved stuff like chat or document editing, just sync.

I don’t know if Luigi’s the shooter or not, but if he did it, there’s a decent chance whatever is presented as evidence has absolutely nothing to do with how they actually caught the guy.

Windows 10 LTSC currently has an EoL date of 2027-01-12.

No store, no cortana, much less bullshit in general.
LTSC is the only current windows version I even remotely consider having.

So I recently had a conversation with some who though Linus Torvalds (kernel) and Linus Sebastian (Linus Tech Tips) was the same person.
That was a pretty funny and confusing conversation.
