You’re correct. I wrote that at around 4 am and I had a variety of other errors as well on my first draft, that one happened to slip through.

Honestly right on red is so stupid. So many people don’t even slow down and they just go. Sometimes I’ll be waiting to turn right at red light and some dickhead in a behemoth truck behind me will start spamming their horn like they think I have the right away and can just mow down whichever pedestrians are in the crosswalk. I bike a lot and I have narrowly avoided being hit by a car turning right on red multiple times. One time I had a car graze my back tire which was really scary but fortunately I ended up okay.

I use obsidian for just text stuff I need to remember later. If I need to do math or need a diagram temporarily I prefer pencil and paper. If I want to save diagrams for later I have a drawing tablet that I use like a whiteboard so that I can save and use layers. If you don’t have a drawing tablet Autodesk sketchbook is a decent substitute that can be used on your phone.

I think of my past self in a sympathetic way because my past self endured so much pain so that I can be happy today. I’d rather not think of my past self because I find it rather depressing so I generally avoid my past but I do recognize it’s existence. Although my old self really just feels like a husk and not a real person. In addition a lot of my past is a blur so I don’t remember much anyways.

I do keep old pictures so I can reminisce about the past if I feel like it. I generally feel bittersweet when looking at those old photos because I am reminded of how depressed I used to be but it also allows me to see how far I’ve come since then. Other things such as my deadname are entirely negative for me so that I something I have erased as best I can.
