We have to arrange that for wealthy/corps first.
We have to arrange that for wealthy/corps first.
All of them, if I’m honest.

That’s what wealthy elites lazy always say, right before they crash the economy. 1929 much?
🫂 I’m so sorry. It is not “only a single anecdote.” So many people share similar experiences, with specific details swappable. But society stigmatizes feeling a way about our circumstances, when the circumstances are what needs changing, and that’s the truth.
I’m grateful you have shelter. I hope you have somewhat decent? meals?
Does anyone reading know if there’s some sort of help or mutual aid community on Lemmy? If people could chip in a buck here, five there, I bet a lot of us could use the help.
Any necessity should be nationalized and given. How tf are people supposed to work on issues (wound/trauma healing) when constantly exposed, without time for rest and recovery, to the same or similar traumatizing events? No. Give homes and competent, comprehensive health care, along with healthy foods and decent clothing. After recovery, people can contribute back to societies in meaningful, sustainable ways. But that would mean the end of wage slavery or literal chattel slavery (via social constructs, such as prison or threat of deportation), and billionaires and corporations being heavily taxed, and we can’t have that now, can we?
Was guessing so. Thanks for your reply,
Destabilizing other countries and exploitation of natural resources and cheap labor, in order to maintain USD and military hegemony. That’s why.
And insider trade of children, and if anyone thinks it’s just Matt Gaetz, let me sell you my nfts.
Where is this magical place?
Pressure washing is very sustainable as a standalone, and you can make money, even with to afford a drum kit. But if you hate it, you’re not going to stick with it, day in and day out. Then you have an expensive tool you’ll use occasionally. If you won’t stick with drums either, may as well use it on something else that brings you some account of pleasure and gratitude.
What makes you feel more alive inside? That’s the one you’ll be more likely to stick to.
Ok? I didn’t say differently. OP said
Is it apple though? Probably not is my take away from this article, but I don’t trust plenty of others, and apple still does
Because some of us have no cars and transportation, and online spaces could help with arrangements for people willing to do the groundwork.
What are you talking about? All the world knows we are the shining beacon of truth, justice and righteousness, over here!
If it’s not a grand piano, I was thinking “banker’s lamp.” And they look nice.
Edit: or a piano lamp. 🤷♀️
Unless they’re wrong. You’re supposed to turn down unlawful orders.
My great grandad was a Mason all his adult life (~16 until his death at 99), as were my father and grandfather. None made it to the 33rd degree, which I’m not sure how much study, effort and money they put fourth, in effort. I know it irked me father and grandfather they had to pay the Masons $300 to perform “Amazing Grace” on bagpipes, at my great grand’s funeral, which was his dying wish, so they walked away from the society.
Lon Milo Duquette speaks about the Masons, a bit, in some of his talks, but I’ve not delved deeply into their customs. I think there’s quite a bit available, online, if one is interested enough to research. I’d think they are like any other organization: differing beliefs and political orientation among individuals, but I could be wrong.
Those have been withering away. They’re trying to get rid of the postal service, we’ve never had national health…I was reading about Slovenia who now has a mixed economy, with the government heavily involved in planning. The only way I see capitalism working at all is social democracy, but I’d much rather see socialism. Luxury goods for profit, necessities as service, progressive taxes with the top incomes, corporate and private, being taxed in the 90th percentile, to fund services, and heavy sanctioning of nations that hide wealth from non-citizens and lifting of sanctions on nations that do the same, as well as not trying to overthrow their governments as long as they are no threat to us. And arms de-escalation.
