I recently played HL1 and Black Mesa back to back. It was really fun :)

I was surprised that it wasn’t the fifth circuit, then my shock faded: the sixth administers Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee, as well as Michigan.

A second vote for Black Mesa. I played HL1 and Black Mesa back to back, and BM was way more enjoyable!

If it makes you feel better, my husband and I met in an online game (while we lived across international borders,) fell in love, and began dating. The game also has VR, and we explored massive chunks of the Milky Way Galaxy over many months during the pandemic :)

If you have four roommates and use AC, that’s really not too bad. Montana with AC (solo occupancy) was $60 for 806 sqft in summer.

You should try Baker, it’s way better. Get there 30 minutes before the chairlifts start for good parking. Don’t tell anyone else, lol.

The government just approved a bunch of research money for HSR on the cascadia corridor. I’d expect a 4-15 year delay due to the lack of brain cells during the dictatorship years.

As a follow on to this, I think it’s still important to get your flu (and other) shots regardless of H5 status. We wiped out that B strain, and while we probably won’t do it again, it’s always good to protect yourself from serious illness and put the whammy on the flu.

We are both men, and my spouse is still in the process of immigrating here, hehe. I know we’ll never be financially ready, but I want him here while we navigate surrogacy (preferred, but expensive) or adoption.

Lots of good indie stuff, not much from AAA. My recommendation: try new single player or co op stuff. Stop recycling content.

Three years isn’t nearly long enough. Chrome needs to go, as does their dominance in search, android, YouTube and email. That cannot all be one company, under a giant advertising umbrella. Split them up into three companies. Chrome and advertising cannot stay together.

I want to have children, but cannot afford them for an undetermined amount of time. Fingers crossed that we’ll have enough money someday!
