Not true at an individual level. Where I live, no way of voting or not voting would have mattered. The same was true where I used to live years ago. In many places it’s clear my vote doesn’t matter every single time and the outcome would not have changed in most of the election categories.

Therefore I do not actually have choice.

My family used to both say I was the nerd and can and need to fix all their shit, AND anytime anything went wrong it MUST be my fault since I’m the one “tinkering” with and fixing their shit.

Most browsers allow choice of search provider. If you choose Google, you’d get this, if you choose a different search engine, you’d get a different experience. People already had that choice.

I always find it humorous that people treat places like Chili’s or Applebee’s as if they are somehow better than fast food in value for money.

I only do real fast food, or a more serious sit down restaurant of better quality. Not this overpriced garbage in between.

The quality depends on locations and staffing, etc. Also vegetarian options at fast food joints are a guaranteed way to have crappy food. The big name fast food places have never had good choices for vegetarian/vegan stuff.

Fights happen. A relationship that never fights is unrealistic and a problem. This insinuates to others that fighting in the first year is bad or wrong, and that’s just not necessarily true.

All I can think of is Nintendo trying to sue this post or something.

The Bethesda remake is supposedly using some Frankenstein of the original engine shoved into unreal. It’ll suck.

Though in their defense, it’s not being done by Bethesda at all. It’s being done by some studio who has mainly only done support work for other studios bigger games. I think called Virtuoso?

A long time ago, I read one of their developers say you require the original games since the mod is specifically designed not to re-provide you with any copyright material from either game, and in fact I think it’ll look for and use the files you have like any other mod.

This was done on purpose so they can never worry about being shut down or sued if they ensure they never wrongly re-use or provide copyrighted materials. Probably a smart move for such a massive undertaking.

Maybe life isn’t binary choices arbitrarily dreamed up so you can Boomer-judge others to deflect your projecting from your own insecurities.
