  • There are multiple reasons for this. First of all due to the fact that a lot of infrastructure is based around cars society actively looses places for people to meet and hang out(I think this effect even has a name, but I’m not sure). Lack of places to interact with other people, and therefore lack of social interactions, causes a rise in loneliness. Then theres the problem with how men are supposed to act. We get told, that we shouldn’t “ask out” women in every day life, since its now considered creepy. For me this causes a certain type of being not sure where and when it is OK to ask someone out leading to me not doing it since I don’t want to get labeled as a creep. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to blame women for the male loneliness epidemic and there devinetively are a lot of men beeig creeps and asking someone out in absolutely the wrong situations, but this is something that needs to be said to understand the male loneliness epidemic. This also causes dating to take place online. Now the problem is, that online dating fucking sucks. Dating apps are useless, as long as you don’t want to sell your kidney to them, since they want you to keep using it. If dating apps were somewhat usefull they’d be out pf buisness quite fast.

  • This. Especially if you go partying weed is way cheaper, as long as you don’t have an absurdly high tolerance. You can smoke like 0.3g and be high for the whole evening and only spent like 3€ on getting high. If you want to achieve the same with alcohol you would have to spend way more.

  • I’m a daily user, but for me I don’t vape it (prevents use from being too easy, too accessible)

I feel you. Since I bought myself a Vaporizer my use has devinetively increased. However, its the only way, except edibles, that I can consume weed without coughing my lungs out.

  • The other thing is, using it day in and day out, from sunrise til sunset or even later, will probably wreak havoc on the battery health. I know EVs in general suffer from this, too, but I feel like it’s even worse for farming equipment, because you know they’ll get a let of extreme use, whereas a lot of people with EVs might only use it for a commute into the city, or a trip to the shops

That’s certainly a problem I didnt thought about. Driving farming away from being forced to use fossil fuels devinetively is one hell of a challenge and I still have zero Idea on how to achieve this in some practical way.

Also I can only agree with you. Where I live the attitude that you should use something as long as it runs devinetively applies.

  • Apple is absolutely overpriced dogshit. There is no legtimitation for the prices they charge. However, Apple has two advantages(as far from what I heard from a lot of others). Its brain dead easy and works. Every Idiot is capable of using apple and won’t have that much problems with it. Apple is the right thing for the digital toddlers that want to have it easy. The Ecosystem is great as long as you don’t want to break out of it.

I personally would never buy Apple since I like a certain form of complexity and don’t want a completely locked down system. However, if you only care about something where you don’t have to think and that just works, Apple is The right thing for you.
