At least you know Shank is on your side. No ulterior motive working for the billionaire class. He’s just as fucked by the system as you are.

Ohio’s include descriptions of suspects, victims, vehicles, locations, etc.
Same here in AZ. I’m sure there are times photos are posted to Twitter too or something, but that’s separate from the actual alert info.
Post with a screenshot someone posted elsewhere in the thread. California sent the alert out in the shittiest way possible. It’s not the system itself, it’s how California is choosing to do it. I’ve never had any emergency alerts here in AZ be remotely this useless.
Someone elaenin the thread posted a screenshot. The Amber alert in CA basically just said it was an alert and a bit.ly link to Twitter for info.
Why the fuck doesn’t California actually include the info on the alert itself like I’ve always gotten anywhere else? That’s the actual question. Every alert I have received in AZ has had all relevant info for the alert in the alert itself, never just a link elsewhere.
It’s crazy to me that’s all the info I cluded in the Amber alert itself.
Every alert I’ve ever gotten here in Arizona had the relevant info on the alert, regardless of how large that might make it.
Why the fuck would California shorten the info in the first place?
Unfortunately I haven’t received any since I got a new phone, so my history is empty.
Should have probably considered filtering it’s training input to not include humanity’s fascination with rogue AI killing us.
A random person recognized Luigi in just a couple days, and he was wearing a mask in all the video footage released.
Modern recognition systems can scan footage a lot faster than humans. Many modern systems don’t just use facial recognition but other factors like general height, walking gait, stride length, etc. to make more accurate recognitions.
As much as I logically know this to be the case, especially now that Android and iOS indicate when things like the mic are active… My brain still wants to reject it because it is just too coincidental.
I do not trust mic switches however, unless someone can provide proof that it physically disconnects the circuit to that microphone, it can be bypassed somewhere and there’s no reason to trust the manufacturer.
Not to mention the completely failed War on Drugs which is still ongoing wasting trillions of taxpayer dollars providing jobs to the police to arrest minorities with laws aggressively passed to target them, and actively trying to to prevent more advanced research into “controversial” topics like HIV/AIDS and stem cells instead of actually trying to find treatments.
He may not have started some of these, or kept them going, but he expanded them and created a cult following for their continued implementation.
While the North and South poles match the planet’s axis of spin. If you’re comparing differences in latitude, you’re looking at it as if the Earth were spinning around a vertical point between the poles, but the planet itself is tilted 23.5° compared to the solar plane. Plus we’re in an elliptical orbit, not circular, and that axis of tilt also wobbles about from the pull of not only the Sun but also the gas giants in our solar system like Saturn and Jupiter, and of course the Moon which also gives us our regular tides.
There’s a lot of factors that go into orbital mechanics. All of which result in our planet having widely varying tidal forces, distinct seasons, but still resulting in an overall stable and balanced ecosystem.
Yeah I remember back before CD-R was widespread, having only 3.5" floppies a Zip 100 drive, trying to look into how to move files from our old family computer to a new one.
I did find some sort of software at Best Buy or Circuit City, someplace like that, which used an A-A cable to directly connect two systems.
This, USB-C is just the connector shape. USB-A is the standard square plug everyone knows, USB-B has several different ends, some more well known than others. The full sized “printer/hub” one, mini-B and micro-B which more people know. USB-A to A cables aren’t common, more akin to an Ethernet crossover cable, so you’re almost always going to see one of the B connectors.
USB-C is just the newest plug design, the actual cable and communication protocols have changed numerous times over the decades. USB-C might have been introduced alongside USB 3.0 and the massive increase in charging and data speeds with the new standard, but they are not exclusive.
The most obvious example is probably the iPhone 15 and 16, both had a USB-C plug, but the devices only supported USB 2.0 protocols.
Now, this could qualify as terrorism.
Not a single murder of a psychopathic indirect mass murderer CEO.
Yeah so many people talk about Snowden going to Russia and ignore the fact that he was only in Russia transferring to another plane when his passport was cancelled stranding him there. The choice was basically stay there, or go back to the US, and that wasn’t really an option.
Why the US would want to leave him in Russia as a potential asset for Russian intelligence to break instead of letting him get to a different country that isn’t such a direct threat though is a really good question.
The media almost singlehandedly bringing Watergate to the average American’s attention was why Murdoch created Fox News. It was created specifically so they could force control of the narrative to their advantage.
And then we allowed every other media corporation to be bought and do the same once they saw it worked so well.
This is why many/most reviews are actually useless.
Many people use reviews to complain, about anything, especially if it has nothing to do with the product because it’s the easiest way to try and get it out of their system.
Combined with fake reviews, astroturfed reviews from undisclosed free products, and the average user having no knowledge of a product or category to compare against, etc. and I’d even say most reviews are effectively useless.
On the bright side, seeing any of those types of phrases in the review means you can effectively ignore that review entirely.
