I would for more niche stuff, but I’m guessing my instance would defederate from it.

Yes, I’ll take one Dell Pro Max Premium please. Heck, while we’re it, please make it a Dell Pro Max Premium Ultra Deluxe with Extra Sprinkles.
It’s a great idea for a way to encourage donations to these projects.
More than likely, you would not have been a knight, you would have been a peasant working the fields for your short life before dying of some incurable bacterial infection when you got a cut on some of your farm tools.
Women are better at being friends to each other. I’ve basically given up on trying to make friends with other men because they are terrible friends. At best, they make no effort at all at friendship and are completely passive, requiring you to call and make all the plans. At worst, they are hostile in various ways when you try to befriend them. It is very rare to meet another dude that makes effort to be a friend.
Edit: it’s soooo funny to see this comment being downvoted because it will only perpetuate your loneliness. You deserve it.
Also, they handle multiple orders. So, by the time you get your food it’s lukewarm at best, but likely cold and soggy.
Last time I checked out of curiosity, this Mexican place near me sells burritos for $12. After fees and tips, it would’ve been $28 on Uber Eats. It’s just not worth it to me to pay extra, when I can easily drive the 10 minutes myself.
I agree USB-C is small enough, but micro and mini usb were not reversible. I don’t think Apple was intentionally making cables that fell apart easily. I agree that they did, but I don’t think it had some profit motive behind it. Apple makes dumb design decisions some times because their designers like certain looks or materials. I just honestly think the designers liked the material of the cable and its feel. It was admittedly nice, but it just falls apart within a year of everyday use. Now they’ve changed to a cloth material.
Seems like a bit of an overreaction. The complaint you’re making is about the cable not the connector. The cable can still fray near the tip with a USB-C given enough wear and tear.
The lightning connector was great for its time, moving Apple devices off the giant serial connectors present on the iPod and early iPhone. In comparison, the lightning connector was small, reversible, and durable. It’s still even smaller than USB-C today.
If you’re just wondering about time zones — not many advantages: the stock market is already moving at 6am and closes in the early afternoon. If you have east coast family, they’ll text you when you’re asleep in the morning. Then, when you have time to text them at night, they’ll be asleep. Big events like presidential debates and addresses start when you’re just leaving work or commuting, so you tend to miss out on them.
I think the interesting thing about the Barbie movie was its “IP” holder basically acknowledging that a lot of the current generation thinks its product is toxic.
Same — everyone has so many memories of that game. For me, it reminds me of playing games with my brother, he would read the prima strategy guide and help me get through the dungeons. My father bought ocarina of time for us both for Christmas. We got drawn in to the magic of that game for several months after.
You’ll have ads and be paying soon enough
I think you just appointed yourself founder and moderator
It’s good, prefer lime and pamplemousse
A lot of TnC’s have opt out forced arbitration. I do often read the TnC’s and follow the steps to opt out. It’s often as tedious as possible, like writing a letter, printing, and mailing it. Really depends though on whether it is some service I think I’ll be using often and that could have big negatives from not opting out like my bank account.
Yeah — stop making me reset the god damn oven, microwave, and coffee maker every time the power flickers. At the very least my coffee maker has a small battery in it that seems to endure shorter outages, but if manufacturers aren’t willing to have a back up battery for this, then they should take out the god damn clock altogether. It’s mostly pointless— especially these days. My microwave is so tedious too — it asks the day, month, and year. Why does my microwave need to know the fucking date? It actually serves no purpose.
But OpenAI has received more than $13 billion in funding from Microsoft over the years, and that money has come with a strange contractual agreement that OpenAI would stop allowing Microsoft to use any new technology it develops after AGI is achieved
The real motivation is to not be beholden to Microsoft
Reminds me of freshman year in college… people would sneak into each others rooms and put it up on each other’s computers, trying to see if they could set a record for most spins.
Too close to home
