I love the number of people coming out of the woodwork with “obviously” ex post facto. Like everybody could just intuit how this operated, both in the affiliate stuffing and the deal agreements. It is difficult to show the latter.
My only issue is that we have to kill and make kibble from lots of animals to feed these carnivores. But I love my dog and my life and health is better with him in it.
But you still need the user accounts. Which must be created and are verified by email. Then you have to generate tokens for them to call the api endpoint to add the star. I’m not saying it isn’t doable, but it would be non-negligible and GitHub is going to squash you back at some point creating all those accounts from one source.
How would the raspberry help? It is accounts needed.

edit: People downvoting me like I disagreed with him. Just saying how he looks at it. I think it’s a bit of a false dichotomy but they are definitely similar.
