They can’t, their party leader isn’t in government and there’s three other parties keeping them in check (one of those is particularly twitchy about this sort of stuff).

Besides, Dutch law does not provide many executive powers that can infringe upon freedom of speech. There’s not a whole lot they could do even if they tried.

The investigation found the RFA articles amplified misleading claims about the vaccine programs, and its stories were reprinted by popular tabloid newspapers to reinforce the anti-vaccine misinformation.

Mediabiasfactcheck is not exactly unbiased themselves.

They’re self-contradictory in their own assessment here. They find no failed fact checks, yet their accuracy is rated as “High”, not “Very high”. No motivation is provided for this. They also state RFA lists sources, but most articles on North-Korea especially only cite “Residents in the country”, thus not providing anything verifiable. It’s also why most major news outlets don’t use RFA as a source, their stories are not verifiable. It’s mostly sensationalist tabloids like The Sun in this instance that uses them as a source.

RFA is not a particularly credible source for this reason. It’s basically impossible to prove many of their claims, so scepticism is warranted.

This of course doesn’t detract from the fact that NK is ruled by a nutcase dictator who brutally oppresses his people. But we don’t have to necessarily trust a story with as much credibility as some fanfiction here. This story could well be true, but I don’t want to assume that this is fact based on the nonexistent sourcing.

Both have the same colour on the map, so I’m not sure how much that confusion could matter.

If there’s anything Europeans know to be true, it’s that Paris is a giant tourist trap. Not worth it imo.

This sounds a lot like what Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance has been doing for ages, and that expansion came out in 2007. The only difference is the unit limit but that’s mostly for performance reasons (and is rarely hit in competitive matches anyway).

Systemic change is being made next to impossible due to the rampant legalised bribery and corruption at all levels of the political offices.

How would you even go about going against the corporate oligarchy? Your candidates will get primaried and out-funded, your party colleagues will get bribed to vote against tackling these issues, and that’s all assuming you could get close enough to having enough candidates for all races across the country, you get your messaging picked up by the media and you somehow poll so high that strategic voters won’t split the vote, actively putting the worst party in charge instead.

You’d somehow have to get elected, get enough supreme court justices pushed through and have them repeal Citizens United to even get started. That’s a tall order to ask from a political class that actively benefits from the current situation.

I mean, is it? I personally haven’t found Python using much less boilerplate. It’s possible, but you end up with something inflexible that’s hard to maintain.
