I don’t know why anyone asks. The answer is always yellow.

Complicated. There’s the city, and it’ll be broken into neighborhoods with their own names. Then that will be broken down into blocks (approximately) with their own numbers. Then each building has its own number within the block. So you can only find a place based on its address (assuming no online mapping) if you already know approximately where it is.

Before Google maps became a big thing, taxi drivers would have massive books full of neighborhood maps which they would refer to when you told them the address you wanted to go to.

Very vividly and every night. I just can’t really call up pictures in my mind. I can call them up for maybe a fraction of a second with poor detail, but I can’t hold on to them.

Don’t use blue lights. That includes most lights. Use red or orange lights after dark. Blue light wakes you up. (I mean do this in addition to some of the other suggestions.)

Your cheap version is my top recommendation. Basically, learn to practice mindfulness and use that when you go to bed. Focus on your body sinking into the bed, feeling cozy.

According to my SO’s sleep doctor, most people don’t need that high of a dose. He recommends 1mg.

I did this back when I had insomnia. It worked great. I would usually do it while some movie that I am very familiar with was playing, even if it had a lot of sound variation. For me, that involved a lot of Jaws and Alien movies.

This is going to be really hard for those of us who are aphantasic.

Yeah, go ahead and do this somewhere like Home Depot, but most garden centers and nurseries are just small businesses. They need that income and lose a lot more money from this practice than one would expect (plants can get pretty expensive).

Like, there’s this rhododendron garden + nursery near me which has some truly amazing varieties. Things that you can only get there or in Bhutan, for example. They actually send people to these remote places to find rare varieties. Would I love to take a tiny cutting from basically everything there? Absolutely. But no. I pay because they’re amazing and I want to support them.

Edit: Come to think of it, it hasn’t changed much. I’m catching a different type of crab now and my best friend has become a dog. Not too bad.

What’s really shocking is how recently so much of that occurred. We like to think it’s the distant past, but it’s not.

You’ve got to be a complete sociopath to do that to an animal. Force feeding it pesticide? You know it struggled because pesticide tastes like the poison it is. That poor animal suffered.

Don’t Starve looks cutesy but is completely unforgiving.
